There’s a lot of great ideas circulating the internet as far as fun and educational activities to do with your kids while you guys are stuck athome together. Sometimes, the sheer amount can seem overwhelming, so I thought it would be helpful to have a lot of resources in one place so that you cankeep coming back to check what you haven’t done yet. You can even let your kidswork semi-independently from this page as all the links are safe.
You can also use these as a cross-curricular (thanks Traci Backus!) home education program. Connect your computer to the TV, take a 30-60-minute virtual tour of a museum, zoo, or National Park. Then take what you have learned on your tour and write a story about it, use it as a jumping point to learn more about an animal, artist, or art form, and practice some art based on your tour.
There is a wide variety represented here. Be creative and make learning fun.
