Gift ideas for an autistic child

Kids with autism can often be difficult to buy presents for. My son didn’t even like toys for years. He went through a phase where he was only interested in kitchen utensils. So I created this list to help parents get ideas of what they might buy their kid. You know your child; they’re probably not interested in half these items, but I bet there are a bunch they are interested in.

I complied this list with the help from my friends in this Facebook group. I shared the suggestions that either were made multiple times or that my son is also interested in. These items are all found on Amazon. They are affiliate links, which means I get a small commission if you buy, but you pay the same either way. If you click the picture, it will direct you to the product on Amazon.

Use this list not just to buy your kid gifts, but also as a resource to give family and friends that are asking what to buy your child.
